We are all intruders here. Ordinarily, one installs a lift kit so that
larger tires will fit. What kind of rubber do you have on there?

First thing is most lift kits come with shocks that are WAY TOO STIFF.
Mike suggested pulling the shocks off, see if that helps. Second is that
the spring lift kits have extra arch (obviously) and that stiffens the
spring rate up considerably. Not much you can do with that.
If this is your first Jeep, keep in mind that these things ride rough in
the best of times.
2" body lift is marginal. If you have the suspension lift and don't run
huge tires, consider taking the body lift down to either 1" or removing
it entirely. Way less strain on the body mounts.

I second pulling the shocks and seeing it if is still really stiff. Skyjaker
Hyrdo7000's ride very nice. You could also pull one leaf from the front
spring packs to soften the ride, but this would shorten the life of the
springs.
