I get the idea, you don't have a clue about what this sport is about. You
think "real Jeeps" are a stock CJ. I don't think that ANY CJ ever came
stock with a 400" motor. Did it? NO! What's the difference between us
upgrading our Transfer Cases and you dropping in a 400" V-8? REAL JEEP!
The original Military Jeep; did it have a V-8? Nope, don't think so. I
believe that the Jeepn' craze was founded on the small motor, low gear
principal.
Hmmmmm Bill, do you think this goes back to my original statement? Real
Jeeps are built not bought. You are only proving this point. I don't see
any pics of you doing Hardcore Jeeping in a STOCK CJ. You modify as much as
we do. Maybe not the same parts, but you still modify!
You really ought to consider coming off that high horse you THINK you are on
and bringing something useful or bringing nothing at all.

Then you probably don't know about the 360 cubic inches used '72,
along with it's Borg Warner T-14, Dana 20 and 44. From the '72 AMC Jeep
