which terminals do i test? there are 3 of them

The center and either of the others. I think they mirror each other for
use in an automatic so one will read .02V and the other will read 4.8V
to the center.

One will read that way anyway and the meter won't hurt anything checking
the other.

well thanks for your help. i ended up spending the 60 bucks and
replacing the sensor. everythings ok now.
