Apparently you are oblivious to the fact that oil viscosity is
effected by an over heated engine. I thought you owned a motorhome, or
did they put idiot lights in it for you?

I bought it used, they put idiots lights in for somebody else.

The OP made no suggestion of overheating. He made no mention of heating at
all other than to say that the oil pressure dropped after the motor reached
normal operating tempurature, which is common.

And I was fishing for his problem knowing he recently rebuilt his
304" which normally is never less than a hot idle of forty pounds.
Maybe, I should have told him he failed to prelude it's inserts.

304" which normally is never less than a hot idle of forty pounds.
