Assuming we're talking about Windows . . .
'The Bat!' is the best email program. It's cheap.

'Forte Agent' has a free version, and the commercial version is cheap too.

Man - that Moses got around. I heard that Popeye was going to beat him
up because he'd heard that Moses had come to mount Olive.

Reminds me - am I the only one whose nerves are grated by Jaguar's radio
commercials with the British announcer? I guess the Brits normally
pronounce it "jagyouaw" as opposed to the American "jagwar". The former
sounds so pretentious (but the American pronunciation is probably
bastardized).

Re: Jeep thing or sheep thing?
I agree on Forte. I use the commercial version now, wow, cost me a whole $30 or so a
couple of years ago. Its only draw back, which in this age of virus's is actually an
asset to me...its a text only reader. Html shows up in text format. But, none of
those "click on the attched file or message" type virus's or trojans can get in via
it (unless you are totally stupid about it) since they only show up as attached
files. It works great as a news reader too.

Urban Legends...
"The truth is that the Chevrolet Nova's name didn't significantly affect
its sales: it sold well in both its primary Spanish-language markets,
Mexico and Venezuela. (Its Venezuelan sales figures actually surpassed
GM's expectations.) The whole "Nova = "doesn't go" tale was merely
another in a long line of automotive jokes, like the ones about "Ford"
being an acronym for "Fix or repair daily" or "Found on road dead" or
"Fiat" being an acronym for "Fix it again, Tony!" These humorous
inventions might adequately reflect the tellers' feelings about the
worthiness of various types of automobiles, but we don't really expect
that anyone ever refrained from buying a Ford because he actually
believed they needed to be repaired on a daily basis"
