Re: Gas grade question
Replace both of the O2 sensors and do plugs, cap, rotor and wires, order
the Mopar HP wire kit, PN 4876436 @ about $46.00, stay with the stock
Champion plugs from the dealer, their champions look different then the
R12's the parts stores carry, I also run a K&N flat filter, I alternate
between it and a few stock paper ones, usually when I do its cleaning and
oiling cycle. I've been running my 98XJ on the cheapest gas I can find for
over 180,000mi. You might also want to have the injectors cleaned either
professionaly on a fixture where they remove them or head over to NAPA and
pick up the 3m fuel injector cleaning kit, comes with adapters that attach
to the fuel rail and a can of cleaner/fuel that runs for about 25 minutes.
The 3m kit does a good job but be prepared to spend about $90 or so in it
and another $20 for cartridge refills.
