Yep. I had a fido node and BBS just for grins. Eventually had
to give it up as the content was mostly junk and there were too many
leeches uploading garbage.

Supply/demand I guess. That and production costs. Takes a lot of
people to make a car but only a few parts houses to build components.

I once own a '37 Lasalle, what a jealous little draft dodging senile
