Who said it was converted? What year did new cars come with R134a?
The truck is back together and charged - another $22 for oil and R134a and 6
hours more labor. I might have been done sooner had my 2 yr old helper been
faster at fetching tools. I made one mistake that cost me over an hour. I
left the blower fan wire dangling behind the AC box when I reinstalled it in
the truck. It wasn't until I started putting the dash back in until I
noticed. I had to remove the entire AC box again. Other than that everything
went smooth. Here are more pics:
