For a more permanent solution I'd go with the gasket (ie, for the valve
cover). For a less permanent solution such as regularily replacing diff
fluids, etc... I'd go with a blue silicone gasket maker. Where I'm located a
gasket maker is about $3/tube where a gasket is considerably more moola and
almost never in stock.

cover). For a less permanent solution such as regularily replacing diff
fluids, etc... I'd go with a blue silicone gasket maker. Where I'm located a
gasket maker is about $3/tube where a gasket is considerably more moola and

in stock. Depending on how much of a rush you're in, the gasket maker may be
your tie breaker.

soon. Looks like I will be installing her Tuffy trunk this weekend
instead.
