9/11 probably wouldn't have happened if your hero (Bush) hadden't snoozed
through the first 9 months of his presidency. The CIA did everything but
kick him in the ass to get him to take terrorism seriously. Even when his
daily briefing spelled it out in plain english, his only responce was to
go back to putzing around on his "ranch". No call to arms, no high state
of alert, nada! Oh, I take that back... Rumsfeld called for a reduction
in the budget for Richard Clarke's antiterrorism dept.
