Had to google what an LR2 was - the Freelander (or Freeloader as I call it).
A total piece of crap which sells like hot cakes. Has all the ground
clearance of a minature daschund, no low range, a suspension system with the
structural integrity of a chinese crispy noodle, and an engine as powerful
as a geriatric with diahorrea. Even comes with an electric rear window so
the occupants can gas themselves to death more quickly (not enough do).

Hi Dave,
It was a ruthless corporate take over. Like what has now been made
against the law.
Ford and GM do not have the rights to the Jeep name, and you
remember what happen to the Sandman and HardcoreJeep.com!

So if you swap stock and cash for a car company, you are committing the
same trademark violation as naming a website after what some corporate
shark considers to be a trademark as well. I wasn't aware ruthless
corporate takeovers have been made against the law. Must be a great
comfort to David Duffield.

Dave, We have a show on educational TV called Motor Week that highlights
the auto news every week (They actually pretty much just shill for the
manufacturers but that is a topic for another post)
Anyway....
Yesterday they did the Land Rover LR2 and it was amusing to see that every
time it went around the bend on the dirt road it seemed to skip sideways a
bit.
http://www.mpt.org/motorweek/carkeys/
Is that common with LandRovers or is this new model just poorly designed?
