Re: Oil prices got you down?
The justification for widely dispersed bases was to make it harder for the
Soviets to cause significant damage. Dispersed bases are more costly to run
rather than consolidated ones.
That is the rationale, I don't know that the soviets aren't still a threat
as their WMDs cannot be accounted for.
I don't want the US to be the world's policeman. That was one of the roles
the UN was supposed to fill. It doesn't work though because it is run by
politicians and bureaucrats. And I understand some countries reluctance, I
would not want to surrender US sovereignty to.... say... Italian leadership.

Soviets to cause significant damage. Dispersed bases are more costly to run
rather than consolidated ones.
That is the rationale, I don't know that the soviets aren't still a threat
as their WMDs cannot be accounted for.
I don't want the US to be the world's policeman. That was one of the roles
the UN was supposed to fill. It doesn't work though because it is run by
politicians and bureaucrats. And I understand some countries reluctance, I
would not want to surrender US sovereignty to.... say... Italian leadership.

Nice try at proving a negative. I am unable/refuse to document the disposal
of the money from the bank robbery...does that mean I stole it?
Remember when the official Iraqi accounting of all its weapons development
activities was released in early '03 as per the UN resolutions? It was
thousands of pages of documents. The ink hadn't even had a chance to dry
before the White House was calling it a book of lies. I wonder who was the

If you want to listen to a Churchill you should read Winston Churchill's
essays from the 30's when everyone was bending over backwards to appease the
Fascists and *****.
Professor Churchill is free to believe whatever he wishes. If the Alumni
Association doesn't agree with him they can take action. A drop in donations
will remove the professor (as long as he is not connected to the football

Professor Churchill is free to believe whatever he wishes. If the Alumni
Association doesn't agree with him they can take action. A drop in donations
will remove the professor (as long as he is not connected to the football
program)

Fascists and *****.
