Re: O.T. Red light camera
I think you will find 90% of the red light runners are 10% of the
drivers so if they start getting big tickets, they stop doing it pretty
fast.
It has made me more aware of all of them too because of the news PR.
So it has had a positive effect at least on my wife and I.

There was an article in one of my wife's mags (Good Housekeeping I think)
about red-light runners and the accidents they cause. They quoted a study
where they placed temporary cameras up for a year at a deadly intersection
in a major metro area and red light runs went down something like 60%. Then
when the cameras were removed, the red light runs went back up again.
What you should do it put the cameras up and then place signs that say there
are cameras and you WILL get caught....
