LOL... I found the specs on the 3500 / 3550 , I think I can order enough to
make it do that now !

The only aftermarket fluid that I know of that meets the specs for the New
Venture manual transmissions is
http://www.pennzoil.com/products/gea...cro_fluid.html.
The factory service manual in fact says do not use anything but. You might
be OK with Redline, I think several with the NV transmissions here have used
it, but you would do so at your own risk.

Re: NV4500 or AX5 in an 02 tj ?
The only aftermarket fluid that I know of that meets the specs for the New
Venture manual transmissions is
http://www.pennzoil.com/products/gea...cro_fluid.html.
The factory service manual in fact says do not use anything but. You might
be OK with Redline, I think several with the NV transmissions here have used
it, but you would do so at your own risk.
