So how far can that Pro Stock motor go before it breaks ? (Ignoring that 7.5
gallons per minute fuel consumption on 118 octane gas).
Since we are being a bit silly comparing a racing car engine to a road
engine, I'll join in.
1700 hp for 830 ci per your link is 2hp per ci ; the 181 ci Formula 1
engines are putting out 800hp from their OHC engine ; pro rata that would
make it
3600 hp for an engine that can run for 2 hours.
