Front coils brought out in '05.
Here's the Ford truck link again:

If you actually bother to look, it says "Twin I-Beam with coil springs and
stabilizer bar (4x2), Twin-coil monobeam with coil springs and stabilizer
bar (4x4)" about half way down under the chassis specs. So something tells
me that Add-a-leafs aren't really gonna work too well.

2005 4x4 Superdutys (F250-350) switched to the coil spring/3-link
configuration. Excursions remained leaf sprung in front for 2005. Pre-2005
4x4 Superdutys have leaf springs up front. All 2wd Superdutys had twin-I
beam front suspension with coils and radius arms.
