I have 31 inch Goodyears on mine with the stock wheels. 31 x 10.5. No problems
at all. 2000 TJ, with the 15 x 8 aluminum wheels.

A "tall (side)wall" just means your tire will be able to flex and conform
more easily to offroad trail irregularities when you're aired down for
offroading. No issues at all on the street for a 31" tire. :)

more easily to offroad trail irregularities when you're aired down for
offroading. No issues at all on the street for a 31" tire. :)
