New tire size for 2k TJ...
I currently have 30 x 9.5 R15LT's. I am going to be getting some new tires
soon and was wondering if I could get 31's without having to get new rims or a lift. Thank ya. |

Re: New tire size for 2k TJ...
So I could use my existing rims and put 31's on. So I just end up with a
tall wall. What's the drawback with that? "Chad" <chadsmach1@aol.com> wrote in message news:20040211133139.04453.00000805@mb-m18.aol.com... > >I currently have 30 x 9.5 R15LT's. Re: New tire size for 2k TJ...
A "tall (side)wall" just means your tire will be able to flex and conform
more easily to offroad trail irregularities when you're aired down for offroading. No issues at all on the street for a 31" tire. :) Jerry -- Jerry Bransford To email, remove 'me' from my email address N6TAY, PP-ASEL See the Geezer Jeep at http://members.cox.net/jerrypb/ "SB" <steve.brady@rogers.com> wrote in message news:9qyWb.30061$TPZ.6990@twister01.bloor.is.net.c able.rogers.com... > So I could use my existing rims and put 31's on.
