a new reason to be annoyed
I bought a wonderful Supertop Sunrider AND the sliding glass door tops back in November.
The installation was ahem, complicated, but once it was done and in place it's awesome.
Now someone has stolen my back window.
All the Bestop dealers I called told me you can't buy a replacement window (clear) you have to buy
all 3 windows tinted (which I don't want - my eyes aren't that good) or else buy a WHOLE NEW TOP!
What kind of crap is that? Anyone have any ideas?
I went to the Bestop website and filled in none of their form letters.

Re: a new reason to be annoyed
Call again, and then again ask for a supervisor, call BeStop corporate. Call
another vendor. Write a letter to Bestop. Letter's work pretty good esp if
you send alot of them. Go to a auto glass shop and see if they can make
something for you. Maybe Bestop could at least give you the specs to make
one. I would think one could be made without taking a huge chunk out of your
pocket book. www.google.com
If your living arrangement allow for it. www.supercircuits.com has some cool
surveillance stuff if you want to keep an eye on your jeep. I did this for a
friend, night vision, 0 lux, wireless transmitter with a mobile screen and
tape he can watch anywhere in the house. His setup was somewhat expensive
but you could prob do something like it for about $300 (camera and
transmitter/receiver) Cheaper if you just wire it up regular like with coax
and power source. Some setup's will alarm if motion is detected....page you
etc etc......

If a letter is your choice, send it to several bigshots, and make sure you
CC on the letter whom you wrote. This way each one knows the others got it
also.
