Yup, for the same reason all new cars up grade the radiator as part
of their trailer package.

Re: New Radiator $$
A 3 row has more heat transfer capacity than a 2 row. But it is not the
half again more that you might expect, maybe 25%. Unless you are rock
crawling in the desert at 110F, a 2 row should work fine.

Re: New Radiator $$
All I do is rock crawl in the desert in 110F heat. A two row that isnt
clogged and has a good aux electric fan and fan clutch and fan shroud does
pretty well. Sometimes I have to pop the hood latch and leave it on the
safety latch to help vent the hot air... summer is coming, I can feel it
creeping in. Tomorrow the temp here will be 77 or so with santa ana winds
and gusts near 40 of warm wind. Get your chapstick ready.

Re: New Radiator $$
Ok, no wonder my CJ7's 2 core can't keep up....
I have a stock fixed 4 blade fan and stock it didn't come with a shroud.
We get 110+ F deg days with 100% humidity here. I have even had to let
the Cherokee stop and cool with the hood open after using 4 low all
morning.
Yours has 2 fans and a shroud 'and' still can cut it!
