I see the source of all the confusion...

Should read
"simple dash for it similar to a CJ's dash"
Why woudl I want to make a YJ dash similar to a YJ dash? Rube Goldberg was

You still haven't made it simple enough for me, are you working on
a Cherokee, that you would rather have a Real instrument panel, like the
Civilian Jeep's? Maybe this will give you some ideas:

I was kinda thinking so, but....
They make replacement dashes for the CJ's and they will fit right in.
I think you have to change over the gauges due to size or shape issues.

I was kinda thinking so, but....
