Re: Is my Jeep lifted?
Spring clamps come stock on all Real Jeeps two in from and two in
the rear of the axle, it is the only thing that stops axle wrap:
http://www.apple.queensu.ca/CJ3B/Tech/Springs.html And they all have
pads in the dimples at the ends of the longer springs to prevent
squeaks. Yours probably got whipped off from rocks, simply wrapping a
coat hanger wire several times around each spring will work great, Hot
Rodders use a pair of exhaust caps bolted together to stop axle wrap and
dampen wheel hop. It's a very important part.

Re: Is my Jeep lifted?
The number of leafs Bill, the numbers and layout don't look stock in the
OP's photos, they look aftermarket....
Did CJ5's come with 3 long leafs up front?
I thought they had a 5 pack of shorties like my 7 and the link you point
to shows....???

Re: Is my Jeep lifted?
I was thinking the same thing, it looks like there is a set of 2.5" springs.
