Re: The Motor Oil Bible
Anyone notice the six pages quietly slipped into that "oil study" on
"Jesus died for you"? I'm a Christian but I hate it when some one
feels they have to slip that kind of stuff into everything possible.
And yeah, it sure looks to me like whoever wrote that so-called "study"
has to be hooked up with Spamsoil. When I looked up the term 'deceptive
marketing practices' in the dictionary, it showed the Amsoil logo.

Re: The Motor Oil Bible
Heh, I missed that it was actually sponsored by Amsoil (nothing like
self-serving eh?) but it didn't take me long to assume Amsoil was
somehow involved in its production. I have NEVER seen a company with
such deceptive marketing practices. They may have some good products
(no better than any other good quality oil though) but I'd never buy any
just because I believe they have always employed deceptive and shady
marketing practices.

Re: The Motor Oil Bible
What do you think about Mobile's new high mileage oils that they say you can
go 5K+ before changing? I'm not using the stuff, I'm just curious... Mobile
is arguably one of, if not the best oils out there... It makes me thing that
if they say it can be done, maybe it can... Now I know these new Mobile oils
are synthetic or at least blends, but is it true? 5K?
