Clearly, one would not want to be using Cruise Control in a situation like
that. Well, _I_ would not want to be using Cruise in that situation.

I can't even use cruise control going out to Los Wages, traffic speed is
85 MPH, and I'm not about to tell a cop I'm speeding, too by touching my
tail lights! I just pull it out of overdrive and hope, I've slowed for the
Chip's clocking.

Bill,
You CAN press the off button, you do not have to mash the brake pedal. By
the time the nice man sees the brake lights, it's usually too late anyhow,
you may as well fess up and take the punishment. He knows, and he may as
well know you know ...
