Ahh, forgot about that, our 88 Cherokee also has one there and I did
need to change it. It rusted out... LOL!

Knowing the year would help a lot. :)
Newer Jeeps put the filter in the fuel tank. The 4.0 also doesn't have
a PCV valve, but you do need to clean the tubes every now and then.
You will know if you start seeing oil on the air filter.

a PCV valve, but you do need to clean the tubes every now and then.
You will know if you start seeing oil on the air filter.
