Aw, it ain't that bad. Throwing the bulb away is free.

Is there anything else that is hooked to the light except the O2
sensor, shruly there is??? I really dont want to just toss the bulb
incase someting else happens and it needs to tell me "Maintenance
Required"

There isn't on my 91 XJ. I ran into the same thing, not at a multiple of
82,500 miles, either, although it is possible that he odometer was
messed with before I got this Jeep. Note that the O2 sensor had just
been replaced about a month prior.
Anyway, I pulled the bulb (it is a grain of wheat type) and put it
accross 120 volts AC, just to blow the filiment, and put it back. That
way I can always plede innocent with the smog *****.
"Gee, the light was on for a second then went out!"
