Yes, we've talked to the indians. Several times. There are indians that
don't live on the reservation, but for some reason they are allowed to sit
on the council. They are not friendly to the offroad community. If they ever
get voted off of the council, we'll have a chance to get back in.

I wasn't aware that they had plans to create riding areas for the tribal
kids, the plan I heard was that they were going to court the equestrain
community instead of the offroad community. It's really that simple.
I've also heard that the greenies had been in there with the claim that the
run-off pollutes the Salton Sea, but the sea is 30 some odd miles away
across extremely parched desert, and there isn't a drop that flows from the
reservation to the sea without being filtered by several million rocks.

This is a very remote reservation, and they aren't after a casino for
themselves. They get a cut of the casino money from the other reservations
