I wouldn't, but I'm not a fan of 'glass bodies. I'd look for a good
running, rust free specimen.

What don't you like about fiberglass? That is one of the
modifications that I lust after. Just think... no worries about

The key words in your message are "engine/trans are shot." That's why
it's $3k US. To me, those would be fatal flaws putting it in the
"rustbucket/junk" category. But then again, that's because no one in
my family has the skills to transplant a new engine and transmission,
so that's a big factor to me - and is why we bought an extremely well
preserved one that needed minimal work. If, unlike me, you can do
that work yourself, go for it and save the bucks.

The key words in your message are "engine/trans are shot." That's why
