Lockout question
Yeah I know I shouldn't have waited this long since we are supposed to get a
snow storm tonight, but I checked out the 4wd on my truck this morning, and
one of the manual lockouts is shot. The only ones I can get in town are Mile
Marker. I have used Superwinch lockouts in the past and have had good luck
with them, but has anyone used the Mile Marker ones? I would really like to
get them changed before we get this storm, so I may not have time to get the
Superwinch ones in time. Any feedback is appreciated.
BTW, if it matters the axle is a Dana 44.

Re: Lockout question
If the manual hub is anything like the one on my 86 CJ7, it can be
opened up and cleaned out. They can get filled with dirt which can
seize them up. They need a light coat of light grease to work smooth.
