How to remove part from jeep
There are two bars that are attached between the anti-sway bar and my leaf
springs on the front of my 1988 Jeep. I want to replace both of these
because the bushing are worn out. When I tried to get the bolts loose from
the anti-sway bar, even a hammer could not free this piece. Do I need a
pneumatic pickle fork to get this job done. Please advise.
Thanks

Re: How to remove part from jeep
On my '98 I had to remove the sway bar and place it on the solid
workbench. Two hard whacks with the hammer and the sway bar links came
right out. I guess you could also secure the swaybar in a shop vise
and whack the links out. If you try to whack them out with the swaybar
on the jeep all it does is bounce.

Re: How to remove part from jeep
Did you have to buy two new bolts before doing this job or were you able to
salvage the old ones. Please advise before I start the job.
Thanks
