I've tried the Durabak before, essentially its just a heavy paint,
didn't hold up well at all for me.
The Herculiner actually has tiny bits of rubber in it, and it's
polyeurathane, extremely tough stuff. Except for the thickness,
it's hard to tell the difference between it and Rhino lining.

Ah... I post here enough that he should know that I am just some guy asking
questions (Besides, my post was obviously asking why herculiner was so
expensive... I must not be a very good salesman!)... I see people asking
questions about products all the time here. I even *think* I've seen Bill
recommend specific products. Now if I were to come here and tell you how
great EMC storage was, THEN you'd know I'm selling something!

Yes, there was a special roller (very coarse) to give it the texture.
Maybe I didn't have the same stuff as you, but on the can
it depicted a truck bed being done.

Re: Herculiner
Yeah, the stuff I got had a "stippled" roller (or so they called it) which
made the granules in it stand up. Remains to be seen how well it will last
long term, I'd hate to have to get it off there though!
