Ask as the parts counter. They'll look it up for you. My local AutoZone
doesn't even have paper catalogs hanging in the electrical, filter or
wiper sections, everything is one the computer.

Who owns what? WAS: Help Crank Position Sensor for 89 Cherokee LTD
I got interested in this question and poked around a bit. AutoZone (NYSE:
AZO) and Advance Auto (NYSE: AAP) are seperate, competing companies. AZ
bills itself as the larger, AA as second largest. I agree, they do tend
to stock their shelves with the same stuff, I suspect that it is
"low-bidder syndrome" -- their car radio section confirm that thought.
Here's an article on the growth of auto parts retailers in the US:
4. It's pedal to metal for auto parts - 2005-01-17 - Atlanta Business
Chronicle
<URL:http://atlanta.bizjournals.com/atlanta/stories/2005/01/17/story1.html?jst=cn_cn_lk>
AutoZone (and perhaps others, I dunno) does do one thing that I think is
pretty clever: They've got a contract with FedEx that uses them to move
their stock around, instead of owning a dedicated fleet of trucks.
