Help: Choice of best Battery for 89 CHerokee LTD
I have an 89 Cherokee LTD that I've had since new. I've replaced the
battery a few times now as a matter of preventative maintenance. I've
always felt that the aftermarket choices that I've had were limited, and
ended up with what I've felt are 'small' batteries with only about 400 CCA.
The next time I replace the battery, I'd like to get the biggest, badest,
most Cold Cranking Amps, battery that I can fit in the truck (while not
setting it on fire). Any suggestions? Let me know. Thanks.

Re: Choice of best Battery for 89 CHerokee LTD
You are not going to set it on fire, no matter what you put in. Your house
is supplied with way more electricity than you could ever hope to use, and
it hasn't burned down because you draw less than is supplied.
Your limitation is physical size, and the physical size is going to define
the cold cranking amps that will be delivered.
If you have American Battery in your phone book, give them a call. They will
have good prices and the biggest, baddest battery you can hope to find.
