I think the idea of soundproofing/insulating the hardtop is a great
idea. I want to do this but want it to look good and be permanant so,
If anybody has photos they'd like to share, or a website to point to,
I'd appreciate it. I need to know the brand(s) of glue to use and the
kind of material to buy etc,

Also, check your TJ for extra wiring harnesses, etc. My '99 came with
a soft top, but was fully wired already for a hard top. You can see
the harness taped in the back/ extra wiring behind the 3 little
switches in front. Still haven't gotten around to needing one yet,
however.

Also, check your TJ for extra wiring harnesses, etc. My '99 came with
a soft top, but was fully wired already for a hard top. You can see
the harness taped in the back/ extra wiring behind the 3 little
switches in front. Still haven't gotten around to needing one yet,
however.
