weapon. He does however have to sign the application stating that you
are not known to be a criminal, or involved in any illegal activity. If
the local sheriff will not sign the form you cant get the weapon. This
is why most people fill out the applications as a collector, this seems
to work berrer with the local law enforcement officals. Having the local
sheriff get involved seems to be pointless as the feds do their own
background check on the applicants.
You have better luck in smaller rural counties. Dont waste your time in
a large city .

weapon. He does however have to sign the application stating that you
are not known to be a criminal, or involved in any illegal activity. If
