Re: good thing to clean out engine

If you can't find one at the junkyard, they're really not that expensive
to pick up at an auto parts store. Or, just buy the correct size hose
and cut them to the correct size yourself, it's even cheaper that way.
This is a '93, correct? I want to say 5/8" should do the trick,
although I believe i have a short length of larger hose that acts as a
coupling between the elbow and the hose.

Just wondering, since you don't have the hoses, do you just have empty
holes in the top of your valve cover? Or are the elbows still there,
just with no hose attached?

What this guy said before, is that standard size hose doesn't fit. The
smaller intake hose shouldn't be a problem, but it sounds like the big one
is going to need some engineering. Maybe he just didn't try a parts store
with a big enough inventory.

Re: good thing to clean out engine

The idiot at autozone sold me 7/8 heater hose and said that should cover it.

Yes, I do at least have the elbows still...

Did my post get lost?

I gave you a link to the part numbers for new hoses if you want them or
do the junk yard crawl.
