Let me expand on that.
The mounts consist of two rubber 'pucks' or bushings and a steel tube
with end washers.
One bushing sits on top of the frame wing and one sits under the frame
wing. The steel tube goes through the works and the end washers hold it
all together with the bolt.
This gives a moving shock absorber that takes up impact in both the up
and down directions.
I was told poly ones were way too stiff for glass so the glass will
spiderweb and shatter in time.

I think the aluminum mounts are supposed to be used in conjunction with the
rubber mounts. I would like some poly mounts for a glass tub - if anyone has
seen these let me know.
