Sorry, but that information allows people to defraud insurance companies
and subsequent car buyers. Besides which even if you do shut it off the
cars computer maintains that fault code forever. All it takes then is an
OBD-III scantool to detect the fraud.
It's also an easy way to loose nearly all the Jeeps resale value with an "altered"
mileage Title unless covered under the exemptions from the Federal Truth in Mileage
Act. If I were to make an offer for a vehicle with an "altered" mileage it would
be assuming high mileage (20-30k/year) regardless of the actual mileage.
