So all the pilots from 9/11 went through training in the US AFTER Bush
was elected?

Probably, since they didn't stay in the schools long enough to finish their
training. All they needed were the basics of steering the aircraft. That
can be taught in just a few weeks. This is why they allowed the airline
pilots to take off before highjacking the planes. As I remember, only one
of the highjackers stayed with flight school as long as nine weeks.

Specifically? Probably not, that they knew there was a threat is beyond a
doubt. Even late in the Reagan administration they had already done
several studies specifically citing aircraft usage as a possible threat.
Clinton did nothing about it, and neither did Bush. However, I'd need to
see some evidence that they knew of a specific strike.

Re: Europe full of cowards
The military glory of Europe, from antiquity to current. We have been
engaged in our regular-pillage-the-village competitions for a long
time, and these came in ever increasing scopes. Alexander and his
troops need no introduction, nor do Sparta and Greece need any
comment, nor does the stopping of the Persian invaders by the wooden
walls of Greece… The stuff legends are made of, so was Horatio's
self-sacrificing defence of the bridge. The desperate struggle of
Europe against a military monstrosity called Carthage that ended with
Europe's perfect and complete victory, and Carthage was a military
monster that still has no equal on this planet. The building of
European civilization, the Roman Empire of course - itself built on
the ideological foundations of Greece, an event requiring great
dedication, planning and courage, plus a bit of greed. But in equal
measure did European tribes and their chieftains offer resistance
thereto. The fight put up by Vercingetorix of Gaul/France at Alesia,
or the battle offered by Herrmann, the Chief of the Cherusker tribe in
Germany. So too was the story in Albion, here was a woman being part
of a family that formed a long line of collaborators. Then, by an act
of sheer stupidity on behalf of the local governor, she became a
vicious --------- resisting Rome with an Intafada that has become a
legend in itself. A great Lady she was, Budocae by name, chieftress of
the Icini tribe; nowadays promoted to be British Queen, a bit of
jingoism perhaps… Well, why not? The wars between Caesar and Pompey,
the resultant franchising of all Europeans as Roman citizens, saga
upon saga. Conversely, the military and battle performance of
Non-Europeans was rather, hmh - ah, lets have an example: We had just
a few legions in place to deal with the Israelites, a people always
warring against their neighbours, plus their criminal actions against
the European peace keeping forces. So, after patient negotiations and
various diplomatic efforts, we quickly dealt with their army and
rapidly pacified Jerusalem. Though there were some pockets of
resistance left, by some religious fanatics who were called "zealots",
supposedly fierce fighters, though in reality they were only rabble
raising military clowns. Some of these holed up on a hill or rock
called "Masada", but when this panoptikum of figurines had to face a
tiny fraction of the European army, just one of our legions, they
committed suicide, oh dear, how tough and courageous! Then came
Aldrich and his Goths, finally occupying the Capital and turning the
Roman Empire into a European Empire; followed up by the devoted work
of Karl the Great, or Charlemagne. Then, sadly, again infighting in
Europe. Our tribal chiefs, now self anointed princes and kings,
managed to turn the clock back to pre-Roman times and plunged Europe
from one civil war into another, more often than not with the aid of
"advisers" and "financiers" providing their "council". So it was back
to the pillage-the-village competitions. The names involved over the
ages are sagas and legends in themselves, daring Viking raiders and
magnificent Generals like Wallenstein of the 30 year war and Napoleon.
Civil wars interspersed with the Crusades, though a truly unjust
attack for which the Pope has recently apologized to our Arab cousins.
During the Crusades we again showed disunity, weakening our armies.
And on top of that the Jews prepared to stab the backs of our
Christian Knights. Fortunately our commanders discovered their plot in
time, and our troops were capable of putting them to the sword; of
course, now they call it a massacre. Despite all these obstacles, a
divided force, having to deal with Jewish treason, horribly long
supply lines; we were not to be defeated by the heroic resistance of
the Arabs and their brilliant leader Saladin. Instead we left
well-fortified positions and withdrew in an orderly fashion.
Then the more recent events, the heroism in the trenches, and of
course the so-called WW2, more of a European war than anything else.
Legendary tales of unbound individual heroism, daring and planning.
Once a proper European movie industry is established, they have sagas
for a long, long time. The build up of the German Wehrmacht, it's new
style of Blitzkrieg, the Americans call it now "high speed air, sea
and land warfare"; what a mouthful. The speed with which the Wehrmacht
moved west, the desperate courage put up by the French, Belgians and
Dutch to cover the fleeing British, against all odds, the suffering of
the heroic French magnified by their mistaken doctrine manifested in
the Maginot line. The French then deeply divided, some of them became
terrorists, resisting bravely the German occupation whilst others,
250,000 of them, joint Germany in its Eastern European campaign. Thus
the French produced no less than three types of heroes, the Free
French led by DeGaulle, the terrorists resisting the Germans and the
Vichy troops fighting on Germanys side. Truly, Vercingetorix and
Napoleon's old Guard live in the French, no one else and nothing less
than that! And the Americans have the nerve to call these people
surrender monkeys – well, let's have a look at the Americans further
down. Operation Barbarossa, practically the real Second World War,
what a story! The Germans planned to attack in spring so as to avoid
the winter, but Stalin amassed nearly two hundred divisions on his
Western border, so Hitler decided not to wait and to strike first.
Hitler and Stalin, two men forcing Europeans into a mass slaughter,
but one that also showed the best of European fighting spirit. German
soldiers acting ultra professionally, overrunning the opposing Russian
armies, but these put up a desperate, unexpected heroic struggle;
halting the mighty Wehrmacht before Moscow, together with the winter.
But the Germans, French and Italians, plus their auxiliaries from the
Balkans and Scandinavia, they held, withstanding the Russian
counteroffensive that was re-enforced by the Siberian troops. There
was no rout; they withdrew orderly, which is the most difficult
military manoeuvre, and that in a bitter frost for which they were
unprepared – then they counter attacked, again and again. The heroic
actions of all the European armies at Kursk, and from Stalingrad to
Berlin, equal anything Greece and Sparta can show, of course.
Attackers and defenders alike, Germany with its French, Italian,
Ukrainian volunteers and many other European allies fought as bravely
and courageously as Russia and her European allies. Some say the
Russians fought only so bravely because of the commissars in their
backs, never mind why, the Russians did it! That's all that matters.
Even the individual heroes are too many, far too many to name. I will
name just two as representatives of Europe's fighting spirit, one of
these was referred to by the Americans as a "one man air force", a
German dive-bomber pilot who was initially frightened of flying, a
Col. Ulrich Rudel, about 1,500 enemy items destroyed, ships, trucks,
bridges, tanks, you name it, he wiped it out. The other a British
fighter pilot, physically handicapped, yet a fighter ace if there ever
was one, Baader, a man who used a Spitfire instead of a wheelchair.
The Western front, this was a minor event consisting of some
skirmishes when compared with Barbarossa. Non-Europeans fought there
too, fought? When the US-Army met a mere shadow of the real Wehrmacht
during the Ardennes Offensive (the so called battle of the Bulge)…
What happened? German canons fired till their barrels melted down,
then they grabbed a squirrel and they poured another round, when they
touched the powder off, the Yankees lost their minds. Then the Tigers
fired once more they began the running, they run through the forests,
running from the Europeans to the ports of Belgium, they ran so fast
that the hounds couldn't catch them, but the German Tigers did –
together with a bunch of Hitler youths. No surprise then that the
Americans badmouth their enemies as cowards when these fight to the
death, like many of the Arabs do today. All the while the citizens of
Europe struggled to support their heroes fighting at the fronts;
whilst terror bombed with phosphor, petrol canisters and high
explosives, the German people produced in 1944 more planes than the
Western allies together (Paul Kennedy: The Rise and Fall of Great
Powers); however, the Russian people produced even more! And that
under heartbreaking and sadly poor conditions. European heroism, an
unlimited collection of the greatest of sagas, truly a credit for the
offspring of Mighty Zeus and Princess Europa.
Having recalled briefly, well, as briefly as possible, Europe's glory
it must also be considered that the result of practically all
European wars was horror. The sole exception here being the
unification wars fought by Rome. And there is a diktatum of that
horror; namely an unquestionable, irrefutable demand for full and
complete unity.
engaged in our regular-pillage-the-village competitions for a long
time, and these came in ever increasing scopes.
