You bet they do, or at least the co-pilot does if the pilot asks him
to... but the PIC (pilot-in-command) is supposed to do his own preflight
because it's his *** if something goes wrong that could have been
spotted with a preflight. I know as a pilot that I would never fly an
aircraft without having personally first preflighted it.
