It varies radically according to where you live what you need.
I have my ignition module wired directly to my distributor so I only
need the PCV, canister, egr, air filter flaps and distributor hooked up
to pass the visual emissions up here in Canada. I pass the tailpipe
emissions easy.
Here is a site with vacuum routing and the emissions or 'nutter' bypass.

That emissions computer robs you of about 25% total power and 1000 rpm
top end.
