Re: e-brake + 40 miles = squishy brakes...
If they are too far out of adjustment they might not adjust
automatically or the cables could have fallen off from being too loose.

Your shoes are likely toast and will need replacing. If they seem ok,
try sanding the glaze off. Best to just replace them tho - they're
cheap. Make sure the star wheels are free turning and not worn out.

Your shoes are likely toast and will need replacing. If they seem ok,
try sanding the glaze off. Best to just replace them tho - they're
cheap. Make sure the star wheels are free turning and not worn out.

Go ahead and replace the shoes and cups, they do not survive when
the fluid gets hot enough to vaporize.
