Yup. But, I'm sure it just needs to be tighten up. Something most
of us don't have to think about because all manufacturers use a self
adjusting spring loaded tensioner. Daimler finally came around a couple
years ago, all it took was a little prodding by me.

failure. Question is, how do you get belt noise from the distributor on a

leave you on foot when they do. I am not about to assume from my proximity
that it is just a belt noise, and advise some poor dude that he ought not
