The computer's already discinnected, and the grounds have all been cleaned.

you know, I had this problem with my 86 mitsubishi (CRAP) 4X4 and it spit
and sputtered and ran like crap only when it rains....turns out, the
catalyc converter was plugging up, and the motor passed on the extra
moisture through the exhaust as steam. Then, it would plug or reduce the
flow of the catalyc converter, and cause the problems like you
mentioned.......worth a shout....kicked my ass for 2 1/2 years till I
replaced the converter.......
