It ain't the cap/plugs/rotor, its the engine ground or a harness short.
Salt gets into the connectors and forms a bridge when it gets damp, that
bridge fubars the engine computer.

Disconnect, clean (both sides), apply dilectric grease, reinstall, all
engine connectors. (especially the knock sensor if you have one)
And double check that engine ground.
