Different TJ hard top models?
Just got a 2002 TJ with a soft top; looking for a used hard top and
called the local dealer about a wiring kit. Not only are there are
different wiring kits (1997 to 2000, and 2001 and up), but the Mopar
part numbers for the hardtops are different - 1997 to 2002 and 2003 to
present. Anyone know if there are real differences between the 97-02
and the 03 and up hard tops? In looking for a used factory top, should
I limit the search to a 2002 and older top since it is going on a 2002?

Re: Different TJ hard top models?
the tops will all fit 97-present but the wiring harness connection changed

Re: Different TJ hard top models?
2003+ had the vent in the tailgate instead of the driver/passenger
vents at the rear of the '97-'02 hardtops. This gives them a cleaner
look.
