Re: deer yet again
The DNR is working hard at remdying that. If you play the license game
properly (encouraged by the DNR for specific areas) you can take a total
of 6 deer. But they have to be mostly does.
Most of the local suburbs have quiet "control programs", results go to
either deer hunters or local food shelves. But none of that helps when
the local tree huggers treat any urban deer as pets and make a big stink.
I personally quit trying to have a vegetable garden or rose bushes. They
wound up as deer food.

My mother feeds the deer and any other critters that will come up to the
back porch.
My dad has been threatening to thin the household herd since the later 70's
but hasn't ......
