It is the list of components that were put into your vehicle e.g. which
engine, which axle and what ratios, what seat package etc ... you get the
picture. The factory use it to ensure you get what you ordered.

It could be a special order some do when they find the cars on the
lot are full of frilly stuff they didn't want. So they order a car to be
built to their custom specifications. We may do that at Daimler's site
by clicking on the car we want then on "Build a vehicle", say Wrangler
