humph... factory headers.... for us CJ guys that is an upgrade, you guys
get it included
In that case, and depending on what they look like, I would weld them up as
well.

They crack due to the design problem. It is a common problem with the TJ
from '97 to '99. They redesigned the header for 2000, they are still
restrictive. I use problems like this as a great time for an upgrade.

You will not like JB Weld, more precisely, you will not like the SMELL of JB
Weld.
You have to get a new header. The new one has a bellows in it so when the
red hot exhaust meets the ice cold water, the sudden shrinkage has somewhere
to go without causing a break.
