Re: Correct tire Pressure on 90 YJ- Now Axle weights?
I finally located my CJ7 book and the GAWR for the axles on it are 2200
front and 2700 lb for the rear.
If you look at the Jeep, the tranny and t-case are a long way back
compared to most vehicles. It has no real nose out past the front
wheels either and the engine mounts are behind the front axle. The
front seats are right at the rear wheels with the back seat behind the
wheels even.
Someone posted the empty weights of their TJ a while back when we had
this discussion and they were almost even. I think it was Jerry B.
